On the day of Kobe Bryant's death, the people of Los Angeles gathered and grieved around the court that a legend once graced. Grief is an instinct, an uncontrollable response, a coping mechanism. Whether as those who know him as a husband, father, friend, or those who know him as a lover of the game of basketball, we grieve.
